అమెరికా లోని ప్రసిద్ధ తెలుగు సాంస్కృతిక సంస్థ నాట్స్ ( NATS – NORTH AMERICAN TELUGU SOCIETY ) ‘అమెరికా తెలుగు సంబరాలు -2023’ పేరుతో మే 26,27,28 తేదీలలో న్యూజెర్సీ లో సాంస్కృతిక సంబరాలు జరుపబోతోంది. ఇందులో తొలి రోజు కార్యక్రమం గా ‘ఘంటసాల శతజయంతి’ జరుపబోతున్నారు. ఇందులో ప్రసిద్ధ గాయకులు, గీతా గాన ప్రవచన, ప్రచార కర్త శ్రీ ఎల్ వి గంగాధరశాస్త్రి ని ‘ఘంటసాల శతజయంతి విశిష్ట పురస్కారం’ తో సత్కరించనున్నారు. ఇందుకోసం – నాట్స్ కన్వీనర్ శ్రీ శ్రీధర్ అప్పసాని, కో కన్వీనర్ శ్రీ రాజశేఖర్ అల్లాడ, ఈటీవీ ‘పాడుతా తీయగా’, ‘స్వరాభిషేకం’ దర్శకులు శ్రీ అనిల్ కడియాల లు శ్రీ గంగాధర శాస్త్రిని హైదరాబాద్ లోని భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ కార్యాలయo లో కలిసి ఆహ్వానించారు. ఘంటసాల గాన వైభవాన్ని దశాబ్దాలుగా ప్రచారం చేస్తూ, ఆయన ప్రారంభించిన భగవద్గీతను పూర్తి చేస్తూ, 9 సంవత్సరాల పరిశోధనాత్మక కృషి చేసి, స్వీయ సంగీతం లో సంపూర్ణం గా గానం చేసి, రికార్డు చేసి, తనకు స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చిన ఘంటసాలకు అంకితం చేస్తూ విడుదల చేసి, అంతటి తో తన పని పూర్తి అయిపోయిందని భావించకుండా, స్వార్ధ రహిత ఉత్తమ సమాజ నిర్మాణం కోసం భగవద్గీత ప్రచారానికే తన జీవితాన్ని అంకితం చేసిన తొలి భారతీయ గాయకుడిగా గంగాధరశాస్త్రి కి ఈ అవార్డు ప్రదానం చేయనున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ చేస్తున్న కార్యక్రమాల గురించి ఫౌండేషన్ అడ్వొకసీ చీఫ్ శ్రీ అజాద్ బాబు వివరించారు. గంగాధర శాస్త్రి వారిని తాను గానం చేసిన భగవద్గీత తో సత్కరించారు.
