Uniting all the Telugu people in the world in the name of ‘Telugu Sangam’… With the name of ‘Sankranti Sammelanam’, it is a great pleasure to participate in this program which BJP National Leader Sri P Muraleedhara Rao Gatha has been successfully conducting for 8 years in the name of ‘Sankranti sammelanam’. I believe that Sri Muralidhararao, who is going on a journey of life with the aim of service, can achieve exceptional services to this country by getting more higher positions in the future. It is a pleasure that this program is happening in the presence of Swamiji Sri Sri Sri Vishwayogi Vishwanji Maharaj who has Maharshi status. Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad garu, who brought ancient status to Telugu language, Sri Rajendra Prasad, the only actor who has kept comedy on the silver screen at the level of hero for decades and can give happiness to even the leaders of the country like Sri P V Narasimharao.. I am happy to receive felicitation along with Sri Kuchibhotla Anand, founder of Silicon Andhra who is spreading our language and cultures in America for decades. Get inspired by those who have received felicitation on this platform and try to do some service to the society. If the mother tongue of all the languages in this country is Sanskrit… Our Telugu is the Ajanta language which can pronounce that language freely – which has the possibility of making the sound alphabetically…! Let us protect our mother tongue by speaking telugu at home no matter how many languages we speak outside. Bhagavad Geeta Shlokam for being born in India, Potana Poem for being born as a Telugu person to our children and protect the existence of our Telugu race, our Sanatana Dharma… Prove that there is no other book greater than Bhagavad Gita for the enlightenment of moral values, this is not a religious book, but a humanitarian book. Through BJP leaders Sri Raghunandan Rao who are on this platform – I wish that Bhagavad Gita should be included in the curriculum in Telugu states and that the central government should declare Bhagavadgita as a national book. I have devoted my life to spreading Bhagavad Gita for the creation of a better society without any selfishness. ‘said Geeta song propaganda campaigner, founder of Bhagavad Geeta Foundation Dr. L V Gangadhara Shastri. On 19th of this month, he spoke in the most grand program of the Om Convention in Hyderabad. Tripura Governor Sri Indra Sena Reddy attended this function as a chief guest. CHII L before the event. The Kuchipudi dance done by Keerthipriya attracted the guests in a special way. She was praised and felicitated by Sri J D Lakshmi Narayana, Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad and Sri Rajendra Prasad. On this occasion, Dr. LV Gangadhara Shastri couple was felicitated by ‘Telugu Sangam-Sankranti Sammelanam’ stage.
It was a joyous experience to participate in the ‘Telugu Sangamam’, an initiative that unites Telugu people across the world and aims to preserve and pass on the grandeur and richness of our language, culture, and traditions to future generations through the ‘Sankranti Sammelanam.’ This apolitical event, organized successfully for the past eight years by BJP National Leader Sri P. Muralidhar Rao, is a testament to his dedication and vision. I firmly believe that Sri Muralidhar Rao, whose life is dedicated to service, will attain greater positions in the future to serve the nation even more profoundly.
The presence of Swamiji Sri Sri Sri Viswayogi Viswamjee Maharaj, a personality of Maharshi stature, made the event even more special. It was also an honor to share the stage with distinguished personalities like Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad, who played a key role in securing the classical status for the Telugu language; Sri Rajendra Prasad, the legendary actor who brought humor to the silver screen for decades and even brought joy to leaders like PV Narasimha Rao; and Sri Kuchibhotla Anand, founder of Silicon Andhra, who has been promoting Telugu language and culture in America for decades. I feel privileged to have been honored alongside such luminaries.
I urge everyone to draw inspiration from the esteemed individuals honored on this platform and contribute to society in some way. While Sanskrit is the mother of all Indian languages, Telugu is the only language that can articulate its sounds and structure with pristine clarity. Let us preserve our mother tongue by speaking Telugu at home, no matter how many languages we use outside.
As children of Bharat, let us teach our kids a Bhagavadgita shloka and, as Telugu people, a Pothana padyam to safeguard our identity and uphold Sanatana Dharma. The Bhagavadgita is unparalleled in imparting moral values—it is not a religious scripture but a universal guide to humanity.
I also appeal to BJP leader Sri Raghunandan Rao, present at the event, to take steps to introduce the Bhagavadgita as part of the school curriculum in Telugu states and urge the central government to declare the Bhagavadgita as the National Scripture. For the construction of a selfless and virtuous society, I have dedicated my life to the propagation of the Bhagavadgita.
These were the words of Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned singer, global preacher, and propagator of Bhagavadgita, founder and chairman of the Bhagavadgita Foundation. He spoke at the grand ‘Telugu Sangamam – Sankranti Sammelanam’ event held on the 19th of this month at Om Convention, Hyderabad.
The event’s chief guest was Sri Indra Sena Reddy, Governor of Tripura. Before the program, a mesmerizing Kuchipudi dance performance by Chi. L. Keerthi Priya captivated the audience. She was praised and felicitated by Sri J.D. Lakshminarayana, Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad, and Sri Rajendra Prasad.
On this occasion, Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry and his wife were honored by the Telugu Sangamam – Sankranti Sammelanam platform.
