‘Sanatana Dharma’ which is universal is greater than all the religions in the world. Something that is practical. The one that follows. Not established by men like other religions. The essence of this Sanatana Dharma is ‘Bhagavad Geeta’ which has been named as ‘Sarva Shastramayi’. It was not a human being who taught this. ‘Sarvasya Cha Aham Hridi Sannivistha:’ was taught by God who declared himself the soul in all the living beings. By teaching this to childhood children, we can achieve the best society without selfishness. How to live an ideal life without mental stress. Karma who does good deeds can be a Yogi. Bhagavadgeeta Karmasiddhantha book. No scripture tells how to do the work like Geetha. That is why we should know the value of Bhagavad Gita. Read knowing the meaning of each word. Should understand and practice what is read. If it comes to the level of practice of Geeta, it is like a man becomes a God. There is no other book that can enter the path to salvation other than Bhagavad Gita. That is why we are requesting state governments to include Bhagavad Gita as curriculum. We request the Indian government to declare Bhagavad Gita as a national book. Hindus’ way of thinking is universal. Inspiration for this is our Vedas, Upanishaths, Bhagavad Geeta, Ramayana Bharathadas. So we are failing to follow and protect the ideals told by these. Come into our country ‘Are you a Hindu.. When 26 tourists were shot dead by terrorists after asking – it is very unfortunate that there is no response from Hindus.. The reason for this is that there is no strong feeling in Hindus that they are Hindus… The medicine we have to take if we want to increase the strength of Hindus – ‘Geeta Sanjeevani’ said. Famous singer, Geeta singing, Prophecy, Campaigner, Bhagavad Geeta Foundation founder Dr. LV Gangadhara Shastri. In the premises of Trivikrama Swamy temple in ‘Myhom Bhuja’ in Hyderabad (15.6.2025) Geeta Gana was preached. Devotees have praised the devotional songs sung by him and the hymns in the Vishwarupasandarshana Yogam. Sri Gangadhara Shastri thanked Sri Madan Mohan, Mrs Durga, Mrs Vijayalakshmi, Sri Naniraju and other committee members for inviting him on this occasion. Temple committee congratulated Gangadhara Sasri couple on this occasion. Audience cheered for the short film on the spiritual and social programs of Bhagavad Gita Foundation’ first. Gangadhara Shastri requested that Bhagavad Geeta Foundation should be supported by Geeta campaigning.

“Sanatana Dharma is the most universal, profound, and timeless spiritual path in the world—far above all other religions. It is practical, exemplary, and not man-made like many others. The very essence of this eternal Sanatana Dharma is the Bhagavadgita, revered as the essence of all scriptures (Sarva Shastra Mayi). It was not spoken by a mere human being, but by the Supreme Being Himself, who declared, ‘Sarvasya cha aham hridi sannivishtah’—’I reside in the hearts of all the living beings’.

Teaching Bhagavadgita to children from a young age will help create a selfless, value-based society. It shows us how to live an ideal life free from stress, and teaches the art of Karma Yoga—performing righteous actions with a balanced mind. The Bhagavadgita is the ultimate scripture on karma. No other scripture explains the philosophy of action as clearly and deeply as the Gita. We must understand the true value of the Gita, studying it word by word with full comprehension, and bringing it into our daily practice. When one reaches the level of living the Gita’s teachings, one begins to reflect divinity. There is no other path to liberation greater than what the Gita shows. That is why we urge state governments to include Bhagavadgita in school curriculum, and appeal to the Government of India to declare it as the National Scripture of India.

Hinduism is meant for universal welfare (Sarva Shreyas), inspired by our Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and especially the Bhagavadgita. However, we are failing in living up to these ideals and preserving them. It is a tragic situation that even after terrorists entered our country and deliberately killed 26 innocent Hindu tourists after asking, “Are you a Hindu?”, there was little to no response from Hindus. This silence is due to the weakening of Hindu identity and conviction. The spiritual antidote to restore this strength among Hindus is none other than ‘Gita Sanjeevani’,” said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned devotional singer, Gita preacher, and founder of the Bhagavadgita Foundation.

Dr. Sastry delivered the Gita Gaana Pravachanam (musical discourse on the Bhagavadgita) on 15 June 2025, at the Trivikrama Swamy Temple premises in My Home Bhooja, Hyderabad. Devotees were moved by the soulful devotional songs and the recitation of verses from the Vishwarupa Sandarshana Yoga of the Gita.

He expressed heartfelt thanks to the temple committee members including Sri Madan Mohan, Smt. Durga, Smt. Vijayalakshmi, and Sri Nani Raju for their invitation. On this occasion, Dr. Sastry and his wife were honored by the temple committee.

Earlier, a short documentary was screened highlighting the Bhagavadgita Foundation’s spiritual and social initiatives, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Dr. Sastry concluded by appealing to everyone to support the Gita propagation initiatives being carried out by the Bhagavadgita Foundation.
