On the occasion of the wedding anniversary of Sri Gaddamanugu Satyanarayana Rao, a retired engineer from the Irrigation Department, a spiritual gathering (Satsang) was organized at his residence in Hyderabad. Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, singer, preacher & propagator of Bhagavadgita, founder chairman of the Bhagavadgita Foundation participated and delivered a Gita musical discourse.

Dr. Sastry shared: “Everyone gets married, but only a few live an ideal married life by truly understanding each other. The Bhagavadgita’s message, ‘Yadyad ācarati śreṣṭhaḥ’ — meaning whatever a noble person does, others follow — has been beautifully lived out in real life by Sri G.S. Rao and his wife, making them truly blessed. Be it love, friendship, or married life, it flows happily only when ego is let go.” He musically rendered and explained several verses from the Bhagavadgita, showing how it can be practiced in everyday life.

Some verses from the Vishwarupa Darshana Yoga (The Vision of the Cosmic Form) were sung and explained with emotion, painting a vivid picture for the audience.
